Oats Laddu: for yummy and super nutritious treat for your family, especially for the kids
  • 1 cup of raw sugar (raw sugar because it’s healthy and 100% vegetarian)
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1 cup of grated coconut
  • ¼ tsp. green cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. Coconut oil
  • 20-25 Raisins
Method
  1. Put the oats on a non-stick pan and roast it (dry) till completely roasted that you can smell a nice aroma.
  2. Then let the oat cool down. Blend the oats finely and keep aside.
  3. In another pan take the sugar, water and grated coconut.  Cook the mixture on low heat till the sugar melts off and then add cardamom powder and stir it for next 4-5 minutes.
  4. Then add the roasted oats powder, coconut oil (optional) and raisins, mix it well and keep stirring on medium heat for next 4-5 minutes; after that switch-off the stove.
  5. Allow the mixture to get slightly cool down and then roll into even sized ladoos
