Amazing Indian Sweet Recipes (Vegan) – A Mouthful of Delightful Laddus that Nobody can Resist!
Oats Laddu: for yummy and super nutritious treat for your family, especially for the kids
- 1 cup of raw sugar (raw sugar because it’s healthy and 100% vegetarian)
- 1 cup of oats
- 1 cup of grated coconut
- ¼ tsp. green cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. Coconut oil
- 20-25 Raisins
Method
- Put the oats on a non-stick pan and roast it (dry) till completely roasted that you can smell a nice aroma.
- Then let the oat cool down. Blend the oats finely and keep aside.
- In another pan take the sugar, water and grated coconut. Cook the mixture on low heat till the sugar melts off and then add cardamom powder and stir it for next 4-5 minutes.
- Then add the roasted oats powder, coconut oil (optional) and raisins, mix it well and keep stirring on medium heat for next 4-5 minutes; after that switch-off the stove.
- Allow the mixture to get slightly cool down and then roll into even sized ladoos
